Centrally located with easy access to nearby attractions, making it convenient to explore. The breakfast spread featured a variety of options, including a generous Scottish breakfast that was a pleasant surprise.
Rooms are quite cramped, with single accommodations feeling especially tight and bathroom space barely adequate for comfort. My bed was wedged between two walls, making it a bit tricky to navigate. The mattress was too firm for my liking, contributing to a less-than-restful sleep, and the heating system might not suit everyone’s preferences. the layout of the TV made it awkward to watch from bed, as I had to twist awkwardly around the bathroom corner. While the main area seemed functional, a lounge space would have been appreciated for relaxation after a long day. The location is good, but parking can get complicated if you need extended access—might want to plan ahead for that.

It was just a good match for a whistle-stop in Glasgow with good price-quality ratio. The check-in was friendly and efficient, which made everything smooth. Book a room on the ground floor if you prefer easy access.

Charming, Charming, Charming
I loved the historic ambiance of the Edwardian building—it feels like stepping back in time! The breakfast spread was delicious, with a hearty Scottish option that fueled my day perfectly. Plus, the staff went above and beyond, particularly Azam, who helped us with transportation and even ticket issues—such a personal touch!

I had a lovely stay at the Argyll. The location near the Botanic Gardens was perfect. The family room had plenty of space for all of us. Breakfast options were fantastic, especially the hot Scottish breakfast. it was filling and tasty. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when I needed help with my luggage. One downside was the smell of damp in the bathroom. There were signs of mould that made it a bit uncomfortable. the room lacked some privacy due to the window. I had to keep the curtains drawn, which felt a bit awkward during the day. Otherwise, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, very charming with the Victorian decor. I appreciated the quick check-in process and the helpful tips from the staff on local attractions.

It was just an excellent fit for a weekend rest in Glasgow with high value for money. The check-in took a while, but the staff member who finally arrived was friendly enough. Make sure to ask for a room on a higher floor to avoid noise from below.
